A heart to help
At Heart of Hope, it is our mission to help improve lives, empower change and build community. Our love affair with our Pacific neighbours began in 1992 when we first joined ....
We saw how difficult life could be for the majority of local Fijian families and communities, with limited Government assistance, limited work opportunities, third world living conditions and an inflated cost of living. Yet, in spite of challenging circumstances, their love of life, inner joy, warmth, humility, and community spokeof other treasures.
19 years on, with Fijians reeling from a crushing pandemic that has further suffocated many peoples ability to earn from tourism income, we are as passionate as ever about developing sustainable, commercially viable opportunities to assist underprivileged Fijians becoming financially stable.
Our particular focus areas are:
- Supporting women in micro business
- Linking schools and providing supplies
- Raising funds for emergency food supplies
- Providing job opportunities to local trades through
ongoing building projects
