Discovering Your Dreams - Letting go of the Clutter

Hello and welcome 🤗

Do you believe every person on earth was born with a dream for his or her life?

The reason for your individual, one of a kind (just like your fingerprint) personality and dreams is to draw you toward the kind of life you were born to live. If you’ve ever had a dream or things that make you feel excited; then it’s more than likely that you have also been born and graced with the gifts and abilities to match.

Hold on, has something just triggered in you – what are you thinking?

Mind ‘clutter’ from self:

“I don’t have a dream”

“I have to invent my dream”

“I have a dream, but it’s not important”

“I have a dream, but it’s not up to me to make it happen”

“I had a dream, but it’s too late”

“Others laughed at my dreams when I was young so I buried them”

“So much has happened in my life I don’t even remember what I once imagined”

“Thinking about the things that haven’t turned out how I expected make me feel sad”

Take a minute to check your own belief system here. Do any of these describe your thoughts now about a ‘dream’, special desire or goal for your life? If you’re not sure look at your actions. What we do is often a result of what we actually believe. What we visually communicate isn’t necessarily a true reflection? More and more the world is presenting an image of themselves on social media but behind the scenes those closest see the true person – the lovely one and sometimes the not so lovely.

It’s time for you to consider intentional and creative ways to draw aside and reignite or discover the true YOU! The lockdowns, isolation and frustration for many is making it even more important than ever! She is waiting to rise up again or even for the first time; be seen in all her beauty and strength, born for authenticity, the best true you! Others may sometimes seem like they don’t accept that person – in time that doesn’t need to be as hurtful as it may feel. The clutter from others can catapult you into knowing and accepting yourself more than ever.

The world needs you – women younger than you need what you have learnt so far. You have a treasure chest inside of you. Full of gems and diamonds, silver and glistening gold – refined in the fire of life. There is so much freedom in loving yourself, not selfishly but as a celebration of your uniqueness and abilities.

Let’s read a part of this famous declaration made almost 60 years ago by Martin Luther King Jr. "I Have a Dream" delivered 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington D.C.

“We cannot walk alone......And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.......We cannot turn back......I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells. And some of you have come from areas where your quest -- quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution......And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream; I have a dream today! ………..

Martin Luther stepped into the purpose for his life – one that was to shift a nation and go down in history......destined for such a moment as that. Have you had your ‘moment’ or is it waiting for you?

Like the clutter in a room or full house – it hides the order, styling, colours and ability to enjoy it. In time the owner might stop inviting guests in, the mess gets bigger, the sense of shame and failure stronger. Feelings of overwhelm grow and can consume. Most don’t know where to start and then one day a friend, family member or professional comes along and gently takes your hand. No judgment, harshness or scolding – though to your sensitive soul it may feel like it is? But deep down you know that they have your best interests at heart, they want to see you live freely – live the life you were meant to. They may not have forgotten your dreams as much as you have! One step at a time; introducing system, ideas and possible solution scenarios – connecting you with others. Before you know it your starting to realise what you once loved about your house and your desire to share it with, at the least, those closest to you.

Whether it’s physical house decluttering or heart strengthening; it can be in your own time, one step at a time. No pressure just a lovely opportunity to retreat, breath, sigh, smile and remember. Here at Heart of Hope we value moments of silence, beautiful music and creativity to allow you to truly rediscover, refresh and revive your heart ❤️ and life.

The type of dreams we are referring to today are not the ones we have while asleep but rather the dream, plan or purpose for your life that has your name on it. Only you can play that character in the story of this world, your neighbourhood, circle of friends and your family.

All our purposes are different because each one of us is unique, each dream individual and special – non less than the other, no matter what it may look like to yourself or others.

Conquer doubts as you leave a place of comfort and come on a journey of discovery; gentle, quiet, intentional, heart engaging, forward thinking and united with other women who may just be feeling like you!

The growth and excitement that will come as you do it and survive 🤔😂 is liberating
